Photo Images, Inc. is the Northbrook, IL studio of internationally acclaimed photographer, Phil Farber. Phil first discovered his fascination of photography at the age of 10. By the age of 13 he was already well accomplished in photographic technique and began mastering the darkroom.

After opening Photo Images in 1981, Phil became instrumental in the evolution of wedding photography, from being just a necessity into a truly appreciated art form. Phil continued to explore his true passion for documenting individual lifestyles through photography. Using his special ability to draw the inner person out of each individual and capture the emotional chemistry of relationships, he has become an internationally known wedding and lifestyle photographer. Phil’s style of photography has developed into what others have called a beautiful blend of “fashion and photojournalism”… “The fine art of wedding photography.”

Phil’s love for his work has given him the opportunity to photograph in some of the most beautiful places on Earth… From Chicago’s Four Seasons Hotel to the island of Antigua, Phil has captured many of his clients' most precious memories.

Being called upon to photograph celebrities is nothing new to Phil… from Jerry Garcia, Liza Minnelli, Suzanne Sommers, to Walter Payton and Michael Jordan. His images have appeared in numerous magazines from Town and Country to Ebony… but everyday he is thankful for the opportunities given him to create beautiful art and memories for each of his clients.
